Stone Quarry Blast Felt In 3 Counties

(FAIRVIEW, IN) - A stone quarry production blast was felt in three eastern Indiana counties.

Meshberger Brothers Stone Corporation conducted the production shot at its Fairview Quarry in Randolph County this afternoon.

The blast was felt in border towns in Delaware and Jay counties as well.

Officials say the overcast conditions sent the vibrations of the shot up into the clouds and back down towards the earth's surface.
