(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - A Blackhawk helicopter practicing emergency landing techniques at Purdue’s airport broke a tail rotor.
The two people on board the aircraft were not injured in the hard landing.
The chopper was reportedly practicing "touch and go" landings at the time of the accident.
