(GREENWOOD, IN) - The man shot and killed in a confrontation with police in Greenwood Saturday has been identified as 46-year-old Thomas Dugger.
Authorities are still not clear as to why he started shooting after officers knocked on his door and asked him to turn down his stereo.
Chief Joe Pitcher says it could take several weeks to complete the investigation.
Three officers are on administrative leave.
