(VERNON, IN) - A Southern Indiana man will spend 70 years in prison for his role in the 2005 death of his ex-girlfriend’s 5-year-old son.
In November, a jury found Aaron Rohr not guilty of murdering Samuel Moore, but convicted him on lesser felony charges of battery on a juvenile causing serious bodily injury, aggravated battery and neglect of a dependent resulting in death.
The trial was the second for Rohr, whose initial murder conviction was thrown out by the Indiana Supreme Court.
