(STATEHOUSE) - More than a thousand Indiana teachers and concerned parents attend a statehouse rally to voice opposition of proposed educational reforms.
The legislative battle over education reform puts the Indiana State Teachers Association against a bill which they call "anti-public education."
The ISTA argues proposed reforms would allow school districts to change teachers' salary schedules, suspend a teacher for any reason at any time and prohibit a dismissed teacher from arguing their case in arbitration.
