(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Television and film actress Hilary Duff visited a school in Indianapolis Tuesday in support of a program that provides food for low-income children.
The "Lizzy McGuire" star serves as an unofficial spokesperson for "Blessings in a Backpack," a program that sends food home with kids in backpacks each Friday afternoon to make sure children have something to eat.
In Indiana, 17 schools participate in the supplemental weekend meals initiative.
