(STATEHOUSE) - The Indiana Senate voted Tuesday to approve a bill that would ban drivers from talking and texting on the phone.
The measure passed after being amended Monday to expand the ban to include all cell phone use by drivers in Indiana.
Bill Sponsor Sen. Travis Holdman didn't support the phone call provision.
The bill heads to a House-Senate Conference Committee for agreement on a single version.
