(INGALLS, IN) - The National Weather Service confirmed a small tornado touched down in Madison County Monday morning.
Meteorologist Dave Tucek says an F-1 tornado cut a very narrow yet intense damage path through a portion of Madison County just west of the town of Ingalls.
Tucek says the Madison County tornado was the only twister to touchdown in central Indiana.
Damages reported in Putnam County near Greencastle and in the Bloomington area are being attributed to straight line winds.
