(STATEHOUSE) - Six months after being launched, Indiana’s transparency website is adding new features for Hoosiers who want information on government spending.
State Auditor Tim Berry Monday announced upgrades to the portal designed to pull together state and local government financial information.
The new updates include the ability for users to sign up for E-Mail alerts and access more data on spending.
Since its launch last august, the portal has been used by about 75,000 visitors to gain information on state employee salaries, government contracts and other data.
The nonprofit sunshine review gives the Indiana site an A-minus grade, recognizing it as one of 11 state websites exceeding minimum transparency standards.
You can log onto the site at www.in.gov/itp.
