(UNDATED) - Ivy Tech’s computer servers are transferring to I.U. Ivy Tech says it will save $500,000 by moving its servers to IUPUI’s Data Center, plus another $18-million it would have had to spend to build more space for its computer needs.
President Thomas Snyder says housing the hardware at I.U. also gives Ivy Tech the benefit of I.U.'s data protection measures.
I.U.says its School of Informatics will gain experience in handling larger networks.
