(LAFAYETTE, IN) - A Lafayette Jefferson High School student is in the hospital after a near drowning incident at the school Monday morning.
Superintendent Dr. Ed Eiler says the male student was participating in a water safety class when he had to be rescued from the pool by a classmate.
The student was taken to a hospital.
His condition is not known.
