(PRINCETON, IN) - While one Toyota Company Spokesman says a halt in production for north American plants is inevitable this month, officials with the plant in Princeton, Indiana says an exact date still has not yet been determined.
The production comment was made in Louisville, Kentucky before an appearance by Toyota's head of north American operations.
Toyota Princeton Plant Spokeswoman Kelly Dillon says officials are taking daily looks at parts availability one week out.
Dillon says while workers would be given a week's notice as to when production would halt, there would still be work to do like training programs, quality initiatives, and plant improvement projects.
