(UNDATED) - The President of Planned Parenthood is fighting to save her organization’s budget as lawmakers in both houses of congress prepare to vote on the issue.
Cecile Richards accuses Republicans, including Indiana Rep. Mike Pence, of turning a social issue into a political vendetta against women's healthcare.
Instead of saving taxpayers money, she maintains, defunding Planned Parenthood would cost the government at least an additional $200 million to provide the same services from somewhere else.
