(VINCENNES, IN) - The Vincennes Fire Chief says he will likely have to approach the city council for emergency funds to purchase a new rescue truck for the department.
The old truck was severely damaged when it collided with a Knox County ambulance.
Both vehicles were responding to a fire when the accident occurred.
Fire Chief Mike Lankford says the cost for a new truck will be determined after the city's insurance reviews the claim.
