(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The aftermath of the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” is cleaning up lots, and lots of trash.
Different groups work throughout the day cleaning up trash and debris left behind by thousands of race fans.
George Washington High School's Vice Principal says some of it is pretty gross including "half-eaten chicken legs, turkey legs."
The school is using the work as a fundraiser to purchase shoes, warm-ups and equipment.
