(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - A tentative July trial date is set for an Indianapolis man accused of setting a house on fire a week ago and leaving two people dead.
33-year-old Gary Allen Junior said little during his initial hearing today.
Allen is facing two counts of murder and three counts of arson for the fire that left Anna Richards and her adult son Jerry dead.
Allen admitted to setting the fire allegedly to keep the family from being evicted.
Allen lived in the home with his girlfriend, Mary Whitlock.
Whitlock is Anna Richards' daughter.
Allen has no bond.
During the walk to court, Allen claimed he was "under a lot of pressure" before his alleged confession.
Allen goes back to court for a pre-trial hearing July 5th.
