(JASPER, IN) - High water levels in the Patoka Lake Reservoir are yet another concern for Jasper residents.
The Dubois County town continues to deal with local flooding.
However, the Army Corps of Engineers says the reservoir is over 100% full and they may have to completely open the spillway to relieve the pool.
The release would force the Patoka River downstream in Jasper up another 2 feet.
Emergency Management Director Tamara Miller says the flood waters are mostly a threat to businesses in Jasper and sandbags are being provided to protect properties.
Miller says the flooding doesn't appear to be bad enough to consider evacuations at this time.
