(ALEXANDRIA, IN) - Six students are suspended from Alexandria schools for allegedly beating up a 12-year-old student at recess.
It's all over spilled milked.
A police report indicates the students kicked and hit the boy for accidentally spilling his milk on another student at lunch.
It happened at Alexandria Intermediate School last Friday.
The Superintendent Alice Mehaffey is frustrated.
She says the school corporation in Madison County has a zero tolerance policy on violence.
The students involved could be expelled, but that decision cannot be made until hearings are held.
