Wanted Indiana Surgeon To Appear On Dateline NBC

(NEW YORK, IN) - A two-hour report on former Merrillville Surgeon Mark Weinberger is scheduled to be aired Friday night on “Dateline NBC.”

Weinberger vanished in 2004 after hundreds of malpractice suits and federal criminal charges were filed against him.

He was later highlighted on "America's Most Wanted."

Authorities found him last year hiding in the Italian Alps and sent him back to the U.S.
