(RUSHVILLE, IN) - Today is the 9-year anniversary in the disappearance of a woman later found dead.
State Police are still looking for the public's help to solve the cold case.
On June 17th, 2002 Rush County Law Enforcement officials located an abandoned vehicle belonging to Nancy Lyons in Rush County.
Authorities discovered that the vehicle was running, unoccupied, trunk open and the vehicle had a flat left rear tire.
The skeletal remains of the 46-year-old woman were found in October 2002 in a soybean field in Bartholomew County.
