(CEDAR GROVE, IN) - Crews are still searching for the body of a toddler presumed dead after falling into the Whitewater River in Southeastern Indiana.
The 17-month-old boy was in a canoe with his parents Wednesday when they hit a rapid and the canoe overturned.
Franklin County Sheriff Ken Murphy says the recovery effort has been hampered by water levels and debris near the Indiana/Ohio state line.
Crews are conducting shoreline searches, on-water searches, and air searches via helicopter in hopes of finding the body.
