(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Criminal and civil charges against an Indiana scrap metal dealer have been dropped.
Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry says there is not enough evidence.
He notes that a judge ruled Omni Source was improperly charged by a grand jury last fall.
The Fort Wayne based company was accused of knowingly purchasing stolen scrap metal in Indianapolis. Ben Eisbart with Omni Source says justice has been served.
$300,000 dollars seized from Omni Source during raids will be returned to the company.
Eisbart says the company will donate that money to the Indianapolis law enforcement fund.
