(STATEHOUSE) - Governor Daniels says the state will appeal FEMA’s denial of assistance for 2 counties.
The request for Clay and Lawrence counties stemmed from tornados and storm flooding that occurred between April 19th and June 6th.
Federal officials granted a disaster declaration for 32 other counties associated with the same storm system.
Daniels is also asking that Vermillion and Wayne counties be added to the list.
