(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Project Home Indy is cutting the ribbon Thursday on a first for the state; a new home to help pregnant teens and young mothers.
Board President Christina Koennecke says girls will be able to live at the home and learn basic life skills.
Koennecke says the idea came from a similar project in Philadelphia.
Koennecke says they can house five girls, but there's a waiting list already in place.
She says they want to expand over the next couple of years.
