(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - An Indianapolis law firm has filed suit against CVS for allegedly double-charging some customers for medications.
Cohen & Malad, LLP is seeking class-action status in Hamilton County, Ohio.
The suit alleges CVS's billing system double-billed the price of prescriptions who have a high deductible health plan coupled with a health savings account and who use a coupon.
The suit claims the company's billing system can't handle the transactions, which creates the overcharge.
CVS has 27 days to respond to the allegations.
