(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - As the 2012 Super Bowl draws near, some property owners are preparing to rent their space to visitors coming to town for the big game.
Greg Cooper, Realtor with the Dick Richwine Group at Prudential Indiana says this practice is not a new idea.
He says it happens more in warmer destinations because people tend to stay longer to enjoy the weather.
Cooper says those coming to Indianapolis for the Super Bowl will more likely be interested in the game and experiencing the city.
Cooper says those thinking about renting space to visitors need to be aware of any scams.
He says the best thing to do is get the help of a reputable national home broker to help with logistics.
He says renting space to super bowl visitors, if done right, can be a profitable venture.
