(UNDATED) - An Urban Institute Report indicates more Hoosiers are receiving food stamps compared to 5 years ago.
The number of Indiana resident receiving supplemental nutrition assistance has increase 39% from 2007 to 2010.
Indiana ranks in the middle of other states in the Midwest with Michigan and Ohio 8% to 10% higher and Illinois and Kentucky 7% to 10% lower.
