(FRANKLIN) - Franklin, Indiana has been listed as one of the cities with the most affordable homes in the country by CNN Money.
Franklin came in at number nine on the list. The article lists the median family income of $60,914 and the median home price of $99,000. The article also mention's the city being featured in life magazine in 1940 as a great community to live.
Mayor Fred Paris says they were contacted by CNN Money but they didn't know they were being featured on the list until it came out.
Mayor Paris says some of the reasons why Franklin is a great place to live includes the city's parks, schools and its proximity to Indianapolis and Columbus.
The article lists Hunter's Creek, Florida as the number one city with the most affordable homes in the country.
