(UNDATED) - The Indiana Soybean Alliance is shedding light on one of Indiana’s biggest cash crops.
Spokesperson Megan Kuhn says soybeans bring in some $3.1 billion into the state. Kuhn is part of an effort to shed light on the importance of soybeans this year at the Indiana State Fair.
She says about 20,000 farmers manage five million acres of soybeans making it Indiana's second largest crop after corn.
