(UNDATED) - Meteorologist Paul Poteet says he recommended that Sugarland be postponed to wait out the storm Saturday night at the State Fair.
Poteet says he was hired by State Fair officials in relation to their rain insurance policy they have in place for some concerts.
Poteet says he was not there to make the call whether or not to cancel or postpone, but he says they did seek his opinion since he was there.
