Last updated on Monday, August 15, 2011

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Central Indiana Community Foundation has established a fund to support the victims and families of those killed or injured at the Indiana State Fair.

Checks are currently being accepted at the foundation for the Indiana State Fair Remembrance Fund. Officials are currently working to establish online donation capabilities.

Fort Wayne Victim Remembered

A close friend to the Fort Wayne woman that died at the Indianapolis State Fair is talking about her friend's life.

23-year-old Alina Bigjohny graduated from Wayne High School in 2007 and from Manchester College last spring session. One of her close friends, Amber Sampson, says Alina was going and loved everything she did.

Bigjohny was going to be a 7th grade teacher in Muncie this fall, her first professional job.

State Fair Events Postponed, Rescheduled

Pioneer Villages 50th anniversary celebration at the state fair will be rescheduled.

Concerts with Train and Maroon 5, and Janet Jackson and Lady Antebellum will not perform on the grandstand. The new location has not been released.

Also, refunds for Saturday's Sugarland concert are being made at the point of purchase.

The tractor parade will be Sunday, the last blast fireworks are canceled. There's no decision yet on the demolition derby. The Hoosier rodeo series finals are postponed. No decisions have been made about harness racing events.
