(INDIANAPOLIS) - Firefighters battled a fire on the roof of an Indianapolis public school Wednesday night.
Crews were called to Louis B. Russell Jr. School #48 around 6:00 and found heavy black smoke coming from the roof.
Investigators believe building materials on the roof started the fire but the investigation is ongoing.
No injuries were reported. The school is closed Thursday.
