(MUNCIE) - Authorities searched the Prairie Creek Reservoir Wednesday for a missing Muncie woman.
Detectives were searching the reservoir with 14 search dogs from various difference agencies. Muncie Police Captain Mark Vollmar says the search was not based on a tip, but rather to rule the area out as a possibility for Nelson's location.
40-year-old Kimberly Nelson was last seen as she left her third-shift job at the youth opportunity center August 1st.
