(TERRE HAUTE) - Six people have been charged in federal court in connection with last month’s murder of a Terre Haute police officer.
Gunman Shaun Seeley killed himself after gunning down Officer Brent Long, but prosecutors have charged five people at the house with lying to police about Seeley's whereabouts -- three of them are accused of flatly denying he was there. And prosecutors have charged Scott Griffy of Terre Haute with selling Seeley the gun.
ATF Special Agent in Charge Bob Browning says Griffy traded Seeley the gun for an "eight-ball" of crystal methamphetamine -- about 100 dollars worth.
