(INDIANAPOLIS) - A man is in custody following a SWAT standoff in Indianapolis.
Police arrested 34-year-old Jamal Brown Monday night. Brown fled from an attempted traffic stop earlier in the day, hit a trailer and when police approached the man, he rammed his car into a hotel.
The pursuing officer suffered a broken jaw when the man slugged him with the butt of a gun.
Brown had an open warrant for robbery and the car he was driving had been reported stolen.
