(UNDATED) - County health departments are continuing to find mosquitoes carrying the West Nile Virus.
Marion County health officials say bugs tested in two more townships have tested positive. Mosquitoes carrying West Nile Virus have also turned up in Allen, Bartholomew, Hamilton, Henry, and Morgan counties. So far no counties have reported any cases of human infections.
Bartholomew County officials recently sprayed insecticide in the areas where the positive mosquitoes were collected in an effort to reduce the population.
Hoosiers are being reminded to removed any pools of standing water in their properties to eliminate potential breeding grounds.
