(INDIANAPOLIS) - Two beams from the World Trade Center towers are now set along Ohio Street in Downtown Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Firefighter Greg Hess spent 22 months getting the beams here to establish a 9/11 memorial.
The shorter of the two beams is from the 74th floor of one of the towers, but it's not known where the taller beam came from.
There was a slight delay in setting the first, taller beam since it weighed 7,000 pounds more than expected. But the beams were bolted into the foundation of the memorial that will be unveiled on Sunday at 4pm.
Hess says now he needs to raise $50,000 dollars in three days. He says they expect at least two major Indianapolis corporations to make donations and anyone can donate to the memorial by visiting project911indianapolis.org and finding the donation page.
