(UNDATED) - Gas prices are staying relatively stable according to one expert.
Patrick Dehaan with gasbuddy.com says prices have dropped a couple cents in the last week and he expects prices to average between $3.50 and $3.70 per gallon. Dehaan says he expects prices to drop in October and November.
Dehaan adds gas prices could be more sensitive to outside factors including potential hurricanes in the Gulf because gasoline and oil supplies are down 10% over the last year. He says prices will likely stay above $3 a gallon for the rest of the year.
