(INDIANAPOLIS) - Police, firefighters and hazmat crews were called to the Indianapolis main post office downtown after several employees felt sick after coming in contact with an odor coming from a package.
Post office officials say the suspicious package was contained and was not found to have any hazardous material inside. Employees were allowed to return to work.
Indianapolis Postmaster Mary Sullivan says everyone followed standard protocol. The incident is not expected to have any affect on service.
