(UNDATED) - This is National Child Passenger Seat Safety Week.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is now recommending that children be kept in a rear facing car seat for as long as possible....even beyond the minimum age guideline of 12 months.
Children should move on to the next size car seat when they reach the height and weight requirements.
