(INDIANAPOLIS) - A vibrant new conductor has taken over for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
Krzysztof Urbanski, 28, is the youngest music director of any major orchestra in the U.S. The ISO is over budget. In 2009, orchestra members had to take a 12 percent pay cut to keep the symphony running. Urbanski will conduct his first concert with the ISO Friday.
