(GREENFIELD) - School buses had to be rerouted today after a barn fire was reported in Western Hancock County.
The Shelby County, Hancock County and Marion County fire departments responded to the blaze.
The barn is reported to be burned down. Fire crews say the barn was isolated, with only some straw and equipment inside and there was no immediate risk of other buildings catching on fire.
The fire was northwest of two schools. The schools were not in danger.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
