(UNDATED) - Rules for debit card holders and major banks may cause problems for customers.
Due to new legislation, most major banks will be charging up to five dollars per month if you use your debit card during that month.
Indiana financial expert Peter Dunn says customers will have choices to deal with this change including accepting the fees, switching to a bank that isn't charging fees, using cash or using credit cards.
Dunn says if customers don't switch to a different bank, it might be best to just accept the fees in order to avoid piling up more debt by using credit cards.
