(FORT WAYNE) - Police say four women carrying “huge purses” stole more than $2,800 in lingerie from a Victoria’s Secret store Tuesday night.
The women had fled by the time Fort Wayne police arrived.
Victoria's Secret employees told polic the women entered the store together, all carrying "huge purses," and were friendly with the staff.
Police said one woman would talk with an employee as a diversion while the others would collect bras and underwear. When an employee called co-workers for help, the four women fled the store with about 100 bras and women's underwear.
