(KOKOMO) - Kokomo School Superintendent Jeff Hauswald says crews are repairing damage done to Kokomo High School after vandals broke into the school over the weekend.
He says much of the damage has been cleaned up, but some windows need repairing.
Kokomo police believe the break-in happened possibly in the wee hours Sunday morning. Jeff Hauswald says they think some property may have been stolen.
Authorities believe the burglars may have been seeking money, but Hauswald says schools don't have much money on hand. However, they do they do have safes on hand for keeping valuables. Kokomo police are asking for the public's help in identifying those responsible for the break-in.
