(LAFAYETTE)(AP) - A northern Indiana auto plant is preparing to take center stage on a Science Channel program that specializes in detailing how everyday devices and products are made.
The assembly lines at Subaru of Indiana Automotive in Lafayette will be featured Thursday night on the Science Channel's program, "How Do They Do It?"
Viewers of the documentary-style program will get a behind-the-scenes look at how the plant builds about 250,000 vehicles each year.
A crew from Discovery Communications spent two days at the plant last month shooting footage.
The show also will spotlight some of the testing procedures every Subaru undergoes before being sent to U.S. dealerships.
