(UNDATED) - A North Carolina couple, Harry and Kaitlin Marsh, have filed a lawsuit against air Tran Airlines for finding cockroaches on their plane to Houston for a wedding.
The couple says cockroaches were coming out of air vents and carry-on compartments shortly after takeoff.
They took pictures, which are now part of their lawsuit. In the lawsuit, Marsh allege, "Numerous other passengers became aware of the cockroaches..." that "flight attendants were too busy to investigate the problem or believe the problem existed." that it "caused great distress to a number of passengers."
Marsh says they had to throw some of their belongings away and wash others out of concern cockroaches got on their clothes and into their luggage.
They're suing for more than $100,000, plus the price of their tickets. Air Tran denies several of the allegations in the case filing.
Marsh isn't just a plaintiff of this case, he's also an attorney, representing himself and his wife.
