(WHITE COUNTY)(WLFI) - A fire at a major flooring outlet in White County kept crews working all night long late Sunday into Monday.
Fire crews say the fire began around 11:30 p.m. at Rockland Flooring in Monon. Crews were on the scene until noon Monday.
The blaze happened in a silo filled with saw dust.
Ten departments were called in to assist Monon Fire crews with 60 personnel in all fighting the blaze with flames shooting 15 to 18 feet in the air. A fire truck from Monticello received damage from the fire, said Monon Fire Department dispatch.
Crews said this is not the first time they have had to battle a fire at the silo. An initial investigation reveals machinery inside of the silo ignited the fire, but the cause is still under investigation. No injuries were reported.
