(TERRE HAUTE) - The man accused of shooting a motel clerk in Terre Haute in October appeared in court Friday. 28-year-old Joseph Sims, faces a felony charge of attempted robbery resulting in bodily injury.
Police say he shot the manager of the Royal Inn in the chest. Sims was arrested last week on unrelated charges in Monroe County. He's currently being held in the Vigo County Jail on $250,000 bond. His next court date is November 18.
