(TERRE HAUTE)(AP) - The mother of a 20-year-old Marine from Terre Haute, who vanished last week is seeking the public’s help in finding her missing son.
Eric Kirby was last seen Oct. 25 at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, N.C.
Camp Lejeune's public affairs office says Kirby was discovered absent from the base Oct. 26 after missing an appointment. His status has been listed as "unauthorized absence."
Kirby's mother, Nora Willman, is asking that anyone who's had contact with Kirby to let her know. She says it's unlike her son to be out of contact with family. She says he hasn't used his cell phone since Oct. 25.
Kirby is a Terre Haute native who graduated from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis in 2008.
